A round bed with a raised rim, built for the dog who sleeps curled up with their chin propped on something. The rim is the whole point: it gives your dog a wall to press against, which is the position most dogs settle into when they feel safe.

The shell is long-pile polyester faux fur. It ships from a warehouse in the United States, so delivery is domestic rather than a three-week wait from overseas.

Size & Fit

Read the inner sleeping area, not the outer diameter. On a donut bed the raised rim takes up roughly 40% of the total width. A 24" bed does not give your dog 24" of sleeping space — it gives about 14". This is the single most common reason people order the wrong size, so we list both numbers.

Size Outer diameter Inner sleeping area (approx.) Fits dogs up to Example breeds
Small 24" (60 cm) 14" (36 cm) 25 lbs Chihuahua, Yorkshire Terrier, Pomeranian, Maltese, Toy Poodle, Shih Tzu
Medium 28" (70 cm) 16.5" (42 cm) 40 lbs French Bulldog, Beagle, Boston Terrier, Miniature Schnauzer, Welsh Corgi, Cocker Spaniel
Large 39" (100 cm) 23.5" (60 cm) 70 lbs Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, Standard Poodle, English Bulldog, Boxer
X-Large 47" (120 cm) 28" (72 cm) 110 lbs Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Doberman, Rottweiler, Bernese Mountain Dog

Inner sleeping area is an approximate figure calculated from the outer diameter. Faux fur compresses under weight, so the usable area grows slightly once your dog lies down.

How to measure your dog

With your dog lying in the position they normally sleep in, measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail, then add 6–12 inches. That is the minimum bed length you need.

  • Dogs who curl up tightly — use the lower end (+6")
  • Dogs who stretch out on their side — use the upper end (+12"), or size up
  • If your dog falls between two sizes — always size up

Care

Spot clean with a mild detergent and air dry. We are still confirming a full machine-wash specification with the manufacturer in writing, and we will update this page as soon as we have it. We would rather leave a claim off the page than print one we cannot back up.

A note on the photographs

The photographs on this page are the manufacturer's. They show the bed accurately, but they were shot with a cat rather than a dog. Our own photography with dogs is in progress.
